The main types of paving stones are concrete, natural, and porcelain. Concrete paving stones tend to be the cheapest, but they don’t last as long as natural stone or porcelain. Natural stone is mid-range in price and includes a variety of stone types, including limestone, slate, granite, and sandstone.
Porcelain can be a little more expensive, but it’s well worth it if it fits your budget. Porcelain comes in lots of beautiful colours, styles, and finishes, and it’s incredibly durable and long-lasting. Unlike the other options, porcelain slabs are extremely low-maintenance as they are algae and frost-resistant, meaning they stay clean without the need for jet-washing.
